Danielle Hockensmith hunting Wild Turkey with the Whisker Biscuit

This is my first kill with a bow! My dad and I had been watching two tom turkeys all summer feeding in a small clover field. My dad and I set up a blind in the field and hunted it a couple of afternoons but did not see the birds. After school on Sept. 22, my dad and I climbed into the blind and about an hour later we saw the two birds on their way to the field. When they entered the field I drew my bow and shot the lead bird at 20 yards. Then I let out a big scream. We were going to wait and see if any deer came out but I was too excited and ran out and got my bird. I love bowhunting!
